The Alfa high voltage power supply includes an isolated filament supply whose power is controlled by stabilizing the beam current and is intended to operate an X-ray tube in the grounded anode mode (filament floating) at up to 50kV and 2.5 mA.


Control of the output voltage & current is by external 10-volt analogue control voltages.
